Murata Robolution Powers Student Innovation in Robotics Arena

Innovation, creativity, and technological excellence took center stage as students from across the Philippines gathered for the Murata Robolution Robotics and Automation Competitions, a multi-event initiative held on March 5, 13, and 14, 2025–2026 at the Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc. (PMM) in the First Philippine Industrial Park, Tanauan City, Batangas.
Organized in partnership with Erovoutika Robotics Automation and Solution and supported by the Department of Science and Technology – Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI), the competition brought together junior high school, senior high school, and science high school participants to showcase robotics-driven solutions addressing real-world challenges.
Kicking off the competition highlights was the E-Robot Mobile Controlled Competition 2025, held on March 13, which tested participants’ skills in robotics control, design, and maneuverability. Competing teams demonstrated precision, speed, and engineering excellence as they navigated their robots through challenging courses. Batangas City Integrated High School (The Volcano Team) emerged as Champion, earning the top prize of ₱10,000. De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (Anemo Spear) secured the 1st Runner-up position with ₱5,000.
Lutucan Integrated National High School (Roboteam) placed 2nd Runner-up, taking home ₱3,000. Additional teams from Lipa City Science Integrated High School, FAITH Catholic School, and Batangas City Integrated High School also delivered commendable performances and received consolation prizes.
Following this was the Erovouthon 2.0 Competition 2025, held on March 14, where junior high school students showcased innovative robotics solutions designed to address real-world challenges. Rising to the top was Calamba City Science Integrated School, whose project SENTO GAS, a smart gas leak detection system, earned the championship title along with ₱50,000, a trophy, and a medal. Lipa City Science Integrated High School claimed 1st Runner-up with AERO-SAFE, an Arduino-based safety system, winning ₱35,000. Batangas City Integrated High School secured 2nd Runner-up with Project SAGIP, a gas-detecting robot, and received ₱25,000.
Special awards were also presented during the Erovouthon competition. San Pablo City Science Integrated High School received the Best Presentation Award, while Calamba City Science Integrated School was recognized with the Best Presenter Award. Participating teams from De La Salle University–Dasmariñas, Santa Rosa Science and Technology High School, and San Pablo City Science Integrated High School were also acknowledged for their efforts and were granted consolation prizes.
