Philippine Science High School System and Erovoutika Forge Partnership to Advance Robotics and AI Education

Strategic Partnership. Dr. Ronnalee N. Orteza of PSHS System and Mr. Noel A. Deplomo of Erovoutika formalize the MOU signing, strengthening collaboration in innovation and education.

Philippine Science High School System (PSHS), widely known as Pisay, has formally partnered with Erovoutika to strengthen robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), engineering, and STEM education in the Philippines. The collaboration was sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on September 15, 2025, in Quezon City.

The agreement was signed by PSHS Executive Director Dr. Ronnalee N. Orteza and Erovoutika President Noel A. Deplomo, marking a significant step toward equipping Filipino students with future-ready skills in emerging technologies.

Under the agreement, PSHS and Erovoutika will jointly organize seminars, workshops, and conferences aimed at enhancing professional competencies. The partnership also establishes mechanisms for collaborative research projects and academic studies, alongside a resource-sharing platform for journals, instructional materials, and curriculum development.

A key component of the collaboration is the joint participation in major competitions such as ROBOLUTION and RAMPS (Robotics, AI, Mathematics, Programming, and Science), which provide platforms for students to showcase their technical skills and innovation at both national and international levels.

In her remarks, Dr. Orteza emphasized the importance of the partnership in advancing the institution’s mission. She noted that the collaboration strengthens PSHS’s efforts to develop highly capable scholars by exposing them to real-world applications of robotics, AI, and engineering.

Meanwhile, Mr. Deplomo reaffirmed Erovoutika’s commitment to empowering the next generation of STEM leaders and contributing to technological advancement in the Philippines and beyond.

Also present during the signing ceremony were Martin Joseph W. Simbulan, Chief of the Knowledge and Information Division (KID) of the PSHS System, and representatives from Murata Manufacturing, a long-time academic partner of PSHS.

The MOU is expected to open new opportunities for Pisay students and educators, including advanced training programs, research immersion, and increased participation in global innovation platforms—further reinforcing the Philippines’ position in the field of science and technology education.
